The benchmarks
For the duration of the scholarship, minimum marks will be set
for each subject. There is also an overall average mark across
all subjects which you will be required to meet.
The requirements are set to allow for differences in the level
of difficulty between subjects, and also for your individual strengths
and weaknesses.
The benchmarks are applied after the first semester of study,
and may be adjusted over time, if necessary.
How tough are the benchmarks?
The marks required are not set to stretch you beyond the level
of effort typically applied by a hard working secondary school
student.
We strongly encourage participation in extra-circular activities
such as sports and the arts.
Behavioural requirements
The terms of the scholarship also require a standard of behaviour.
This means that behaviour including theft or drug use, for example,
is not acceptable.
Allowance for unforeseen personal events
Allowance may be made for personal circumstances should unforeseen
events affect your results.
Please note that such allowances for failure to meet performance
or conduct standards will only be made at the discretion of the
Foundation.
